Building a trusted professional ecosystem#
SpotLite is an ecosystem designed for professionals to connect, share their creations, discover opportunities and grow their careers. Our mission is to cultivate an environment where authenticity, creativity and mutual respect are the pillars of every interaction. These guidelines define the principles that ensure SpotLite remains a safe, constructive and enriching place for all its members. They supplement our Terms of Use and our Moderation Charter.
Your contributions: the heart of SpotLite#
Quality and relevance: share content that brings real added value — a visual project, a career analysis, a job posting — to enrich the community experience.
Constructive interactions: share your knowledge, ask relevant questions and offer kind feedback. We expect professionalism and respect from every member.
Safety, reporting and automated moderation#
To ensure the safety and responsiveness of our ecosystem, SpotLite uses automatic AI moderation tools to analyze and act in real time on content (videos, images, text, profiles). If you encounter inappropriate content, use the reporting tool (the "…" menu). Automated moderation decisions can be contested with our support team, under the conditions set out in the Moderation Charter.
Fundamental content and behavior rules#
To ensure the safety and professionalism of the platform, the following content and behaviors are strictly prohibited:
- Harassment and hate speech: any form of intimidation, harassment, personal attack or incitement to hatred or discrimination (origin, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, etc.) is prohibited and results in immediate sanctions.
- Violent, illegal or sexual content: the publication of graphic violence, the glorification of illegal activities or explicit or unsolicited sexual content is prohibited. SpotLite is a professional space.
- Authenticity and reliability: impersonation, fake profiles, disinformation, scams, phishing and any fraud are prohibited. Submitting a falsified, altered or fraudulent document (diploma, license, certification) to the Proof Vault results in a permanent ban of the user and their device.
- Company reviews and defamation: reviews must reflect real, personal and factual professional experience. Insults, defamation, disclosure of internal confidential information or coordinated smear campaigns are prohibited. SpotLite protects the anonymity of reviewers but does not tolerate the use of the platform to settle personal scores.
- Intellectual property (videos and music): only publish in the Talent Space videos, images and music of which you are the original creator or for which you hold the rights. The use of protected commercial music without authorization is prohibited.
Consequences of violations#
Compliance with these principles is not negotiable. Any violation may result in measures ranging from a warning to content removal, up to the temporary or permanent suspension of the account and the associated device (device identifier ban). Sanctioned members can appeal by contacting our support team, which will re-examine their case in accordance with our Moderation Charter.
