Payment & Refund Terms

By using SpotLite's paid services (subscriptions, passes, packs, credits, AI services), you accept this policy. We may amend it; it is your responsibility to review the version in force before any purchase.

1. Prices, taxes and billing#

Prices are shown inclusive of all taxes where required by law. Purchases made through Apple's App Store or Google Play are billed and collected by these platforms, according to their own terms; card purchases outside the stores are processed by our payment provider (e.g., Stripe). We never store your full banking details. A receipt is made available to you after each transaction.

2. Credits and wallet#

SpotLite credits are a virtual currency usable only on the platform (passes, packs, AI services, sponsored messages, etc.). They are neither transferable, nor assignable, nor convertible or refundable into real money. The credit balance is kept in your wallet.

Credit validity. Purchased or credited credits do not expire when your Pass expires: they remain in your wallet and stay usable, including without an active Pass, within the limit of features that do not themselves require an active Pass. Certain features (e.g., AI balance attached to a Pass) may however require an active Pass to be consumed.

Order of consumption. When a feature has an allocation included in your Pass (for example a message quota), this free allocation is consumed first, before any debit from your credit balance.

Loss of balance. Any remaining credit balance is permanently lost in the event of permanent account deletion or termination for breach of these terms.

3. Subscriptions, Passes and renewal#

Unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase, Passes and subscriptions do not renew automatically. Where automatic renewal is offered, it is clearly indicated and you can disable it at any time from your App Store / Google Play account settings or from your Cockpit. Upgrading or changing the duration of a Pass may give rise to a pro-rata rebate for the remaining time, calculated automatically.

4. Right of withdrawal (digital content and services)#

For digital content and services performed immediately (CV generation, video analysis, AI processing, activation of a pack or storage service), you expressly request their immediate performance and acknowledge losing your 14-day right of withdrawal as soon as performance begins, in accordance with the French Consumer Code. For services not yet performed, you retain your legal rights.

5. Refunds#

Pass payments and credit top-ups are final and non-refundable once the performance of a service (AI, storage, activation) has begun or the credits have been credited. Refund requests relating to purchases made through the App Store or Google Play fall under Apple's and Google's procedures. Nothing in this policy deprives the consumer of their mandatory legal rights (defective product, service not provided, legal guarantees).

6. Fraud and chargeback#

Any attempt at fraud, double charging, use of stolen payment methods, or any abusive dispute/chargeback (unjustified chargeback) may result in the immediate suspension of the account, the freezing of paid features and, where applicable, legal proceedings. Our anti-replay mechanisms ensure that a single purchase receipt can only credit a single account once.
