What is Spotlite?#
Spotlite is a professional ecosystem where you are judged on what you can actually do, not just on a CV. You show your work (video portfolio), generate a tailored CV with AI, apply in one click and track your applications. On the professional side, shops, artisans and companies showcase their brand and recruit on proof.
Is Spotlite free?#
Yes. Creating an account, your portfolio, discovery and applying are free. Some AI-powered features (advanced CV generation, analyses) draw from an AI balance or credits, with no mandatory subscription. See the "Payments, credits & AI balance" section below.
Which devices does Spotlite work on?#
Spotlite is available on iOS and Android, as well as on the web. Your account and data sync across your devices.
Candidates#
What is the video portfolio?#
Instead of describing yourself, you show. The video portfolio lets you present your work, skills and personality in a few short clips. It's often far more telling than a CV, especially for hands-on professions.
How does the AI-generated CV work?#
The Dalia assistant generates a tailored CV from your profile and your proofs, adapted to each job. You always stay in control: review and validate every detail before sending it to an employer. AI can make mistakes — the final check is yours.
What is one-click applying?#
Once your profile is ready, you apply to a job without re-entering everything: Spotlite assembles your tailored CV and your proofs. You then track the status of each application from the app.
What is the Vault?#
The Vault lets you certify your proofs (diplomas, certificates): AI analyzes and certifies them to reassure recruiters about the authenticity of your background. You choose what to make visible.
What is the Spotlite Copilot extension?#
Spotlite Copilot is a Chrome extension for job seekers. On a job spotted on Indeed, LinkedIn or any site, one click captures the page and saves it to your Spotlite space — even when the site blocks copy/paste — to generate a tailored CV and track the application. See the API & extensions terms.
Shops & artisans#
What can a shop or an artisan do on Spotlite?#
Build a professional presence, showcase your activity and work, gather reviews and attract local talent. Smart QR codes link your physical presence to your Spotlite profile.
How do reviews work?#
Reviews reflect a real, factual experience. They are governed by our community guidelines and our moderation charter so they stay constructive and in good faith.
Companies & recruiters#
How does a company build its employer brand?#
Companies present their culture, post jobs and receive verified applications backed by video portfolios and certified proofs. They recruit on demonstration rather than on claims alone.
What is the company / CSR review?#
Candidates can rate companies on professional and CSR criteria. These reviews follow the same good-faith and protection rules as the rest of the platform (see the moderation charter).
Is there a dedicated recruiting tool?#
Yes. Recruiters get a full ATS (candidates, jobs, applications, e-signatures, calendar, video calls and AI interviews), free to start with generous monthly quotas. The
Spotlite pass (activated in the app) unlocks unlimited use and includes the AI balance. It's available at
recruiter.spotlite-app.com.
Account, data & security#
How do I sign in?#
You can create an account or sign in with your email, or via Continue with Google / Sign in with Apple (on mobile). We only ask for the basic information needed — see the privacy policy.
Can I see the devices connected to my account?#
Yes. From your account settings, you can review your connected devices and manage your security.
How is my data protected?#
Your data is processed in line with the GDPR and our privacy policy. Content you don't make public stays private, and you keep control of professional sharing ("Headhunter" mode) from your Cockpit.
How do I delete my account?#
You can permanently delete your account and associated data directly in the app (account settings), or by writing to contact-us@spotlite-app.com. Deletion details are described in section 11 of the privacy policy.
Payments, credits & AI balance#
What are credits and the AI balance?#
Credits are an internal platform currency, usable for certain services (passes, packs, AI services). The AI balance, tied to your Pass, funds AI features. Credits are neither transferable nor convertible into real money.
Is there a mandatory subscription?#
No, no subscription is required: the account and core features are free, and some one-off actions can be paid with credits. Spotlite passes (week, month, 3 months or year) are optional: they unlock unlimited use (appointments, tests, large video rooms) and include a monthly, top-uppable AI balance. Detailed terms are in the payments & refund policy.
How do I get a refund?#
Refund rules depend on the type of purchase and are described in the payments & refund policy. For any request, contact contact-us@spotlite-app.com.
