SpotLite uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure the proper functioning of its services, secure your account, remember your preferences and analyze use of the platform. This policy explains these technologies and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What is a cookie and a similar technology?#
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device. A pixel is an invisible image that helps understand your interactions with a page or an email. Local storage saves data in your browser or app to speed up its operation. On mobile, identifiers may play an equivalent role. Collectively, these technologies help us recognize you and remember your choices.
2. Categories used#
- Strictly necessary: authentication, security, fraud prevention, load balancing. These trackers are essential and do not require your consent.
- Preferences and features: remembering the language and your settings.
- Audience measurement and improvement: aggregated and anonymized understanding of usage to optimize our features.
- Personalized advertising (where applicable): displaying more relevant ads and measuring their effectiveness; our partners may use these technologies for their own campaigns.
3. Consent and duration#
Where required by law (in particular for non-exempt, non-essential audience measurement and advertising trackers), we obtain your prior consent via a banner or a dedicated screen, and you can accept, refuse or customize it. Your choice is kept for a maximum period of 6 months, after which you are asked again. The trackers placed have a limited lifespan proportionate to their purpose (at most 13 months for audience measurement trackers).
4. Your choices and control#
You can change your preferences at any time from the app settings, and manage or delete cookies via your browser settings. Refusing non-essential trackers does not prevent access to the service but may degrade certain features. On mobile, you can manage advertising personalization from your device settings.
5. "Do Not Track" signal#
There is currently no unified standard for the DNT signal. Like many services, SpotLite does not currently respond to it in a specific way; please refer to the consent mechanisms above.
6. Contact#
